How To Get To The Island
Visitors coming to the island can arrive by airplane, car or snowmobile. For those arriving by car or snowmobile, a 24-vehicle are ferry, the Drummond Islander III operates throughout the winter months.The ferry departs hourly from DeTour (MI) with the trip to Drummond lasting only about 10 minutes. The ferry can handle any type passenger vehicle, Rvs and trailers. Snowmobiles can also drive directly onto the ferry. In the winter months, the ferry operates from early morning to late evening.
